Absorption chilling systems
Absorption cooling systems are energy-efficient chillers and heating solutions that use heat sources such as steam, hot water, thermic fluid, exhaust gases, or other fuels to produce chilled or hot water for industrial and commercial applications. These systems reduce dependency on grid electricity and help lower operational costs while minimizing carbon footprint.
Types:
- Steam-Driven Chillers: Driven by saturated steam from boilers, processes, cogeneration plants, or turbines. Available in single-effect, double-effect, and triple-effect configurations depending on heat source temperature. Used in process cooling and space cooling applications
- Hot Water-Driven Chillers: Utilize low, medium, or high-temperature hot water as the heat source for driving single or double effect VAM chillers for process or space cooling.
- Thermic Fluid-Driven Chillers: Operates using high temperature thermic fluid as a heat source for driving double or triple effect VAM chillers process and space cooling.
- Waste heat Driven Operates using waste heat as a heat source from flue gas of incinerator or any other sources for process and space cooling.
- Oil/ Gas Fired: Operates using direct oil/ gas burner firing as a heat source for the VAM Chillers to generate chilled water for process and space cooling.
Key Features:
- Energy-Efficient Heat Recovery: Capture heat from steam, hot water, thermic Fluid or exhaust gases for cooling.
- Reduced Grid Dependence: Minimizes electricity usage by utilizing existing heat sources. (Upto 90% of electricity is eliminated against a conventional chiller)
- Sustainable & Cost-Effective: Helps lower carbon footprint and operational costs.
- Flexible Integration: Compatible with cogeneration, combined heating, and cooling
- Wide Capacity Range: Covers small to large-scale industrial cooling needs.
- Reliable & Long-Lasting: Advanced flow technologies reduce corrosion and maintenance requirements.
